Nanny McPhee has finally come to blu-ray! I'll bet you're excited. I know my nieces are! Emma Thompson looks...umm, awesome? in this awesome flick about a nanny with special powers who comes to work for a recently widowed Colin Firth. He has 7 kids, and they're extremely problematic, so she definitely has her work cut out for her! Once Nanny McPhee steps into the house, though, odd things start to happen...
Seven is a great crime thriller starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacy, and Gwyneth Paltrow. In it Pitt and Freeman play 2 detectives chasing down a serial killer who is brutally punishing people for committing the seven deadly sins (pride, wrath, lust,envy, sloth, gluttony, and greed). Every actor in this is spectacular, but for some reason I find that this movie isn't all that well known. Do yourself a favor and pick this up for a rental at the very least if you've never seen it before.
