Nanny McPhee

Nanny McPhee has finally come to blu-ray! I'll bet you're excited. I know my nieces are! Emma Thompson looks...umm, awesome? in this awesome flick about a nanny with special powers who comes to work for a recently widowed Colin Firth. He has 7 kids, and they're extremely problematic, so she definitely has her work cut out for her! Once Nanny McPhee steps into the house, though, odd things start to happen...

The Code

The Code is a great new addition to the blu-ray library this week.  Its a movie about a couple of thieves (Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman) who happen to team up for the seemingly impossible task of stealing two Faberge Eggs in New York.  As is the case in movies, things take an unexpected turn and become even more impossible when Freeman's grandaughter is kidnapped by the KGB.

The Pianist

A winner of 3 Acadamy Awards, The Pianist was released for blu-ray disc format today. Adrien Brody stars in this great movie based on the true-story of composer/pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman. This flick follows Brody through World War II, up until the epic ending. I won't give away much more beyond saying you should watch this, and that if you're undecided then watch the trailer below:
